How the prototype is built

How is it built?

• We use FDM technology (Fused Deposition Technology). The part is made of ABS plastic. This is increasingly seen in movies where a machine 'prints' a 3 dimensional object in front of your eyes. Except, this is now available to you!
• FDM begins with a 3D CAD model which it slices into fine layers. The machine then builds the model in real life layer by layer. The finished part/s can be solid or hollow.
• Colours include Red, Dark Blue, Yellow, Green, White, Grey or Black.
• FDM costs start as low as $10.00 for a part.
